Jörg Danielczyk

The legacy of Höroldt and Kaendler is now in the able hands of a new generation of artists including Jörg Danielczyk (born 1952), Head of Artistic Design since 1994. As a former pupil of Peter Strang, Danielczyk is an artist who fulfils the most extraordinary commissions in porcelain. His works are often graphic art in porcelain and true giants, a case in point being the largest free-standing porcelain figure in the world unveiled in 2014. His “Saxon Statue of Liberty” is a proud six feet high and marks the zenith of Danielczyk’s 45-year career at the Manufactory.
